If your exposure meter shows very wide f/stop value or "E.u.", the following two reasons can be considered.Your light may have a "pre-flash" go off before main flash burst, and the meter may be interpreting that to be the actual flash to be measured. Disable the pre-flash function if possible. Otherwise use a synch cord if possible with meter in the Cord Flash Mode.Sekonic flash meters detect any change of the light intensity, measure it automatically, and display the value when in cordless mode. If the source of any ambient light is continuously flickering, the meter may detect this change of the light intensity and display an "EU" value. This situation is repeated while the ambient light is flickering, producing unusable readings. It is caused by certain LED or some fluorescent lamps. The Cord Flash Mode should be utilized under such circumstances.
